Excella Consulting
Excella Consulting wanted make a lasting impact and positive changes in the community and do more than one-time events. So the IT consulting firm "consulted" with their employees and developed ImpaX, a focused Community Reinvestment Program. In 2008, after a thorough, thoughtful process, they partnered with Homestretch, a nonprofit that empowers homeless families to become self-sufficient. This partnership has made a tangible difference in the lives of Homestretch families. Excellians (as the employees are called) contribute time, money, expertise and leadership to Homestretch. Currently, they are focusing on working with Homestretch to develop and implement IT solutions for their organization. By doing this, they are not only more effectively helping Homestretch, but also growing their own employees' skills. Last year, through donations of time, money, and skills, Excella was able to help 4 families gain self-sufficiency. This year, their goal is to exceed that number.

By targeting their impact, Excella has made a real difference to Homestretch. And, in return, helping Homestretch has made areal, positive impact to the Excella employees.

Hats off to their great work!
